Why do we quit?
Have you notice in the past, you started something, maybe something that you really wanted to do and after a while it got hard and little by little you do less of it until eventually you quit and go to the next chiny thing?!
Your not alone, I have done it and I’m sure you have too…..and probably many times.
Why is that?
We are so condition to live in the now, is everywhere these days…. the famous saying “do what feels right”
First of all I HATE THAT SAYING!
It is pathetic and will only bring you down.
Your looking for instant satisfaction, you’re a junky!
Instead of quitting and looking for instant gratisfaction what will happened if you continue on that path, on that journey and you never quit?
What do you think it may happened?
1)you probably will succeed 2)maybe you don’t….BUT a huge BUT there, you learned something maybe lots of things, weather that is about yourself or the endeavor you were working at….making you skilled at it, perhaps an expert because you know now what not to do.
You learned and failed and now you can change it, you can move on to doing something better and experiment with different things in the same filed.
You didn’t fail, you only fail if you quit!
Who knows but I think the pros out weight the cons, if you ask me.
I have quit at so many things in my life, that looking back at it now…I wish I wouldn’t have and I totally learned so much from it.
What’s more important about it all is the NOW what are you doing about it now?
Are you just surviving and letting your live pass you by or are you acting and living a life you wanted.
I don’t know about you but I want to live the life I always wanted. So for starters I know this may sound silly, but who cares right!
I’m working on creating a mood board, that’s what I used to call it in college, but is more like my vision/goal board.
I have heard this over and over again in the past in the different business I dabbled in, but to be honest I never really did it. You gotta create your vision, or the things that you want to become reality make it visual, that you can see every single day of your life, that it is so ingraved in your frontolope that when you close your eyes you can still see it!
So I’m working on that this week and I will share it with you….believe it or not this may take a while…I don’t just want to put some crap up just to put it up…..this requires deep thinking of me….and a daily task of to do-s, so I can stay focus on the big picture!
- So I challenge you today to stay committed in what your doing.
- Create a board for yourself to stay focus on the big picture.
And please share your thoughts on this…
As always, yours truly
